Already got my parts from RCA today! Woot! Flies like a champ again! Just been kinda cruising around trying to break in my new Revolectrix pack I got. I did however have to pull out one back flip since I've been doing it so well on the 450. I think it's time to extend end points, seemed to roll really slow. I am used to the 450 though.

Nice sounds like you are getting more comfortable every flight! My Dad showed me on the sim today he can flip, roll, loop, etc.. We will see how it transitions to real life with his nano and 130x.

Now that I can flip, roll, and loop so well on the 450 I decided to start going on the 600. This thing is MUCH harder to flip! The 450 seems to roll over 100x faster and I think that's the big difference. I'm going all over the place flipping this thing. Almost put it in the dirt a couple times but I've been doing it really high so I have time to save. Any pointers? I think I may be using too much collective and also switching between positive and negative too soon?

I put a full pack in on the Logo tonight just inverted nose in hover and inverted piros in place. Practice, practice, practice! Muscle memory and soon most your maneuvers will start coming 2nd nature. I still talk myself through some moves.

I think I am pretty good at upright flying ever which way. I think there is a whole other world with inverted flight so that's where I am headed. I remember just learning to hover upright so I know what it's going to take to get down. Just like when I started but inverted instead.

Chad I know everyone is different but I learned and am teaching my father the same way. Start tail in upright and either rainbow right or left into inverted hover. If you get into trouble roll out...
I just started front flip to inverted nose in hovering a month or so ago. Much, much easier learning tail in inverted first!

I guess it's just deciding whether you want elevator or aileron to be the same. I am getting more and more confident with it quickly. I need to get some new video up.

Continued working on inverted hovering today with my new Thor pack. Really like that pack and I almost lost it already today. Put it in the dirt twice today. First time just took out the main blades, boom, and a flybar. Got it fixed and went out again. Went to do 1 last flip and forgot I had already flipped out of stunt mode. Plowed it in hard. Took out main blades again, boom, main shaft, feathering shaft, landing gear, boom supports, torque tube, main gear, bottom plate, and the freakin canopy Really getting a lot better at inverted hovering too. Guess I'll be flying the 450 for a couple weeks.

Finally got my 600 back together! I ended up getting the YEP 150a for a replacement esc. I got a short video testing it out but you can hear after my negative climb out the esc cuts power. Kinda freaked me out a bit so I brought it back. I need to do some learning on this esc but it seems to be a pain to find help on it. Anybody else here running a YEP esc? I also found a slightly bent mixing arm so my blades are not tracking good in the video. After I get this down I need to figure out inverted forward flight.

I have the 120 version and love it. If it good enough for guys to put in their 700 Goblins it's good enough for me. Did you get the programming card? You should if you have not. The motor cutting out could be a couple of things. Check your cut off voltage settings. I have mine at 3.2 Check the timing/pwm of your motor. I don't think the YEP likes using the "auto" timing. No matter what it is...........I would not be doing any 3d until you sort it!

I do have the program card. I'm not sure what I have the timing on but I know it's not auto. Does anybody know what I should be running for timing on this motor? It's the stock phoenixtech that came in the combo. I know there is a pic somewhere within these 31 pages. I have the cut out at 3.4, I was going to try lowering that. I could see it maybe cutting out because of load if my pack was discharged more but it was still at 4.08 when I landed. I need to go through complete setup again anyways because I want to do gov store. I just put it on gov so I could try it out. Are you using gov store by chance?
