Well, I couldnt take it anymore and ordered one myself today. RC Aerodyne was very helpful on the phone. Hopefully it arrives in the next week or so (Washington State is a long ways away from the cornfields of Indiana LOL!)
Looking forward to comparing notes during the build.

Ok...for those who are gonna purchase this huge Airwolf, there are a few things I want to point out that will help you on your build. These are some minor things I came across that may frustrate you but really isn't a big deal at all. These "Super Scale" helis are a lot easier to put together than a traditional fuse that you have to figure out how to stuff a pod and boom into. These Super Scales are actually a breeze to put together, the manual helps you from start to finish. One can easily get one of these Super Scales in the air within a few days. With the proper electronics installed, test flown outside the fuselage....it can be done over 2 weekends time.
OK...here are a few things I came across that I am gonna point out so you don't have to waste time and figure it out for yourself. Since the manual is not numbered, I am going to number each front/back of each page so that you can follow along to id the page I will be addressing. Starting with the cover being "page 1". If you labeled it correctly like mine, you should have a total of 74 pages.
1. To make things easier on finding each part when assembly starts, I labeled the parts bags with the number corresponding to the manual. (page 5-7)
2. Wiring the retracts and lights on (page 9), for me the manual was a bit confusing but just take your time and figure out the best way to route these wires.
3. On the installation of the tail clear strobe light, you'll have to fish the wire through. (page 11)
4. Installing the front retract on (page 15), you're told to use screws "48". These screws are (M2x10x8), they'll not work! You'll have to find something a lot shorter but still be able to reach the thread on the retracts. The reason being is that the longer screw will interfere with the mech. inside of the retract and will cause it to bind.
5. Installing the ball links on (page 16), it's trial and error as there isn't any measurements given in the manual for the proper setup. The back retracts will be easier as there are more room to play with.
6. Pay attention when installing the back retracts as they're are setup just the opposite of each other on (21-23).
7. Installing the windows on (page 25-26), pay attention as I've found a few windows with a clear film on it and not on others so you'll need to remove film before install.
8. Installing the dash was a little tricky because of the screw used to make the installation, it took me awhile to finally find the thread to screw it in. (page 32)
9. From (page 33-37) shows the installation of the electronics, since I haven't installed any I can't comment here.
10. Installing the scale part onto each tail wing (page 44) is a bit tricky. The part that gets glued onto the tail wing was a bit long on mine when it gets installed into the tail boom so I had to remove a bit of the material in order for this entire part to fit correctly.
11. On (page 45), the installation of the "winglets" onto each "tail wing" is also a bit tricky. The problem I've found here is that the screw holes did not line up to each other so a few new holes was needed to make this work.
12. Adding the alum. wires onto the guns on (page 46), be gentle as they can be easily bent if too much force is used. Also, when attaching the guns into the "canon base part" you may have to open up the holes a bit with a dremel tool. Always dry fit parts before applying glue.
13. Installing the "outer cap" onto the "clear top plate" on (page 48), it is a very tight fit on mine. I actually had to use the dremel to grin down the clear plate a bit for it to fit.
14. Installing the windshield wipers on (page 51) can be a little tricky. The tab on the wipers that goes into the holes is in an odd angle, I had to remove some of the material on the tabs in order for it to fit properly.
15 Also on (page 51), installation of the scale part that goes underneath of the tail boom. You'll need to drill a hole, there wasn't one....well atleast not on mine.
Hope these info. will help........
