GWS US thoroughly liked my review. I sent them a PDF version yesterday. Sitting in my inbox was an email full of gratitude and to show their gratitude they want to send me a kit of any GWS airplane of my choosing, no strings attached. Of course I'll still do a build log and review write up. Now I'm torn trying to decide my next adventure.

I found the sweet spot for aileron throws today: full recommended with 10% expo. Aileron rolls were axial and with authority.
Elevator still is too much on full rates with 10% expo. She just rolls out of loops with that much throw in the elevator.

They liked what I did with the P-38 and sent me a C-47 to build at my leisure back in June/July. Started her on Dec. 4, finished her on April 19. Maiden flight will happen in 1.5 weeks at my club's annual Spring Fun Fly (not AMA sanctioned, hence why I can maiden).

The C-47 flew beautifully. Not much ground clearance, so on taxi back from second short flight, a blade broke from hitting a chunk of dirt or rock. I'll post the link to my Vimeo account of the maiden when I get more time.
