Heli-Max/Hobbico is giving away 125 demo units. Each day for 5 days the first 25 people to fill out the form wins. So far there has been 3 days; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. They post the link to the form around 12 noon Eastern on their FB page. It is unclear how many times one may enter. It is also unclear as to when they start counting the entries. These are all the TX-R version.
I won yesterday and now am sharing the contest.

Cool beans. I also ended up snagging one for my dad. Sadly I won't be able to fly this until Thanksgiving at the earliest when I pick up my Any-Link module from my dad who ordered 2 from MotionRC. I think there was a run on them at MotionRC since they were listed as $9.99 for a while, but then jumped to $15.99 overnight last week and TowerHobbies shows the modules as discontinued. I have a Futaba 6J thanks to a contest on Crackroll.com from 2 years ago that only has my 450XL on it (use DX8 for everything else), so I'll just attach it to my 6J.

I would never buy one. I'm over micros... That being said though after reconfiguring the link to work with my Spektrum I did get a test flight on it.
It is surprisingly smooth and feels more locked in then the brushed Mcpx. Looking forward to some indoor flying this winter.

I haven't gone idle up yet but very impressive bird. I was shocked at how quiet it is as well.

What a tough little bird. Got it inverted 3x Wednesday. Flipped DR instead of throttle hold as it hit ground and my neighbor's wooden fence. No damage at all no scratches. My mCPx would have me resetting the main gear all 3 times.
This hello is becoming a favorite, as much as I like my mCPx.
I did drop the gyro setting down to 25% to remove a lot of tail wag.

First time I set up a camera to record my flying. Around the 1 minute mark you can hear me eat dirt. A quick check, and it was back in the air with no damage.
