Hi, I'm new to here and the Chaos brand, so I need some advice. I just got a 600E kit I plan on dropping in a scale fuselage. I also plan on converting to 2 blade flybarless. I was wonder what motor/pinion/esc and battery set up others would recommend. My thoughts are 1100kv motor, 100a esc, on 6 cells, 5000mah. Not sure which pinion I would use. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to invest in all the electronics that wont work out.
Thanks!
Scott

Hi Scott, I originally put the 16T pinion in my Chaos 600 but I've replaced it with a 14T. I have a completely stock setup with the Phoenixtech 1100Kv motor and 115A ESC. I was getting head speeds of around 1800+rpm at 60-65% throttle. I think that put too much torque on the motor because my flight times were down around 3 minutes and the ESC was almost too hot to touch. The 11T pinion puts my head speed at a more reasonable 1625 (ish) and the ESC doesn't get nearly as hot. Flight times are longer and it seems to fly as good as it did with the 16T.
