Ran into a strange problem with one of my servos and also my ESC. I was using a JR 11X with a 9channel JR receiver when I last flew my 600 a few months ago. Everything was working fine when I put it on the shelf. Recently I bought a Futaba 14SG and I can't get my aeleron servo to work. Not only that, but my ESC won't work either. The aeleron servo just chatters no matter which channel I plug it into. Elevator, Pitch and tail servos all work fine. The aeleron servo works fine on my Turnigy servo tester, just not when plugged into the receiver. These are the stock Phoenixtech DS601M cyclic servos that came with the kit.
I've tried the following; *Power from receiver pack *Power from BEC *Two different Futaba receivers *Two different Futaba radios *Plugged the servo into different channels on each receiver. *Cycled the servo on my servo tester successfully.
The ESC will enter program mode when I power up the receiver with the throttle at high stick. But when I power up at low stick I get no tones and no response. Heading back overseas Wednesday so I won't get another chance to play with it for several months. Frustration level is pretty high!

Sorry to hear that Ed. If I am understanding you correctly, with the old RX/TX...everything is fine? but with this new RX/TX....the ESC and aileron servo is not working? If you go back to the old RX/TX setup, will it work? If so, I am thinking it maybe something within your new TX's setup or atleast something to do with your new radio. Just my guess.....let us know.

I would lower your endpoint on the low side. Sounds like the ESC is seeing some input on the lowside and thus not arming. As for the aileron servo chatter I am not sure

I think you may be right about the endpoint, Osidak. I was watching some of Finless Bob's videos on Helifreak and in one of his ESC setup videos he does adjust the endpoints to get the ESC to arm. Still not sure what's going on with the servo though. I am inclined to think it's a setup issue though, as you mention, DrEvil. Next chance I'll have to experiment will be October, when I get back home again. Guess I'll do some reading up between now and then! Thanks guys.
