Mike Thats good to know Mike, there were a hand full of ppl that didn't have the same luck so hopefully with this new V3 of the GT9...everything is good to go. Like I said, I can only assume maybe 20% of all the ones out there had some issues. Thanks for posting, please come back offten to see whats new with all the Chaos products.

My 600 is ready to maiden but the winds may not allow it this weekend. I got the complete electronics package which included a gyro. The gyro programmed up without any issues, but I'm guessing my gyro is different than the one that had issues (PT9 vs. GT9)? ***Edit*** Just looked at my gyro. The metal box says PT-9, but the gyro says GT-9. The gyro was purchased earlier this year, so what version would it be and should I be concerned about it. With the sale, it would be no big deal to upgrade to a V3 anyway. Thoughts?

Well, I was one of the few that "had an issue" with the gt-9....Or so I thought....I pulled it off the 600 after my crash and then installed it on my copterx 450.....I cant prove for sure it was the gt-9 that caused the tail failure...It has been fine on my 450 ever since....Im thinking that the servo came unplugged but not sure....I would say it will hold up fine just make sure you secure your tail servo plug to the gyro plug with either hot glue or a servo wire clip etc....I say run it!

My GT-9 failed today. I had just pulled it off the ground and the tail started to jump around. I set the 600 right back down and now when I power the 600 up the tail drives to full pitch and doesn't move. I intend to install an AR7200BX when they come out so the 600 maybe grounded for a couple months now.

That said, you can alway put in another gyro so you can fly it till you pull the trigger on the AR720. You may even consider giving Cliff a call Monday and tell him what happen to you and possibly get a different gyro for the time being. Good luck...

Havent flown it with the GT-9 but I don't want to take the chance. Guess I will go back to the GP780 and try and make it quit wagging.

Go Spartan...I love mine, great performance and the price is not bad. Oh yeah...a breeze to set up.
