Very nice there Chumley, I just got mine back in the air this week with a new metal swash plate installed. I love my little mcpX...b/c basically you can fly that thing anywhere!

I feel the need..... but I dont need a sixth TX. I know it only $40 more for the rtf pkg but still. I have a Aurora 9 (overkill) but have an older Futaba T6XHs that is not used with a micro rx. Anyone know of an option for me in this size? ;D Thanks

Fellas... Have to admit I fell for the hype.... The MIA conversion is totally not worth the investment... Makes the heli very heavy and fly like crap... If you are just hovering around... Mehh it's ok, but dont try and flip or anything that requires agility...
I took mine off and threw it in the trash...
Taking the MCPX Brushless definitely brings things up a few notches... From 3800rpm to 5300rpm... Very fun to fly and much more agile.

I finally had a ball link break yesterday. No crazy flying, just got a little low in FF and skipped/scraped the grass/ground.

I finally had a ball link break yesterday. No crazy flying, just got a little low in FF and skipped/scraped the grass/ground. Yeah, I wanted to say that the mcpx are almost bulletproof but I still break things time to time. I tell ya, if it wasn't for this little micro I would of probably never tried FFs...LOL. Sure we do everything on the sim but most ppl in real life will not do what was done on the sim just simply the fact of the cost of part replacements. Currently, I need to replace my landing skid...I cracked it pretty good the other day. I am starting to wonder how much money I've already spend replacing/upgrading parts on this little guy???.....and is the new "Nano cpx" a better micro than even the mcpx v2 since I have the org. mcpx.

the rear mounting post on my LG broke off, the front L and R canopy mounting posts broke off a while back. CA with kicker did not work for these repairs. Fortunately not much vibration is added by the canopy and until the ball link broke on my the LG was staying put with just the front post in use.
